Payouts
How can I receive my payout?
Paymentwall automatically settles payouts via any of the following methods:
- International Bank Transfer.
- SEPA Bank Transfer.
- FasterPay.
- PayPal.
There is a $100 minimum payout threshold, after which Paymentwall will automatically initiate the payout as long as all compliance documents are uploaded and approved in the Business Profile of your Merchant Account.
Please note that we can send a payout below the threshold by your request as well as find an alternative payout arrangement.
How often can I receive my payouts?
On average, we send payouts once or twice a month, and for high processing volumes on a bi-weekly, weekly, or custom T+ schedule.
Payouts are performed in batches, with all financial bookings in the batch period (24h or multiple days) influencing the amount paid to your bank account.
Paymentwall settles funds at the moment money is collected from the customer. The delay depends on the payment method, risk level, country, and various other factors. A batch will be a mix of funds from different sales days. Adjustment charges are credited or debited as they occur and are not related to the sales day.
When will my payout be sent to me?
Paymentwall settles payouts within 5 business days from the first day of the month and within 3 business days from the 15th day of the month if you have a bi-monthly payout strategy. In case of a custom payout strategy, Paymentwall will send you payouts based on the agreed schedule.
Can I get paid to multiple legal entities?
Yes, if you operate a large number of businesses or you have entities in multiple jurisdictions, we recommend adding the bank account and company information about each legal entity in the Business Profile of your Merchant Account.
In which currency can I receive my payouts?
Paymentwall can send payouts in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, PLN, SEK, AUD, CZK, and other local currencies, provided that you process payments in these currencies and that the bank account used for the payout is denominated in the same currency.
How much time does it take to receive a payout?
After Paymentwall sends the payout, it takes around 3 to 7 business days for the payout to arrive in your bank account. If you are using PayPal, the payout is settled within one business day. Please keep in mind that banks do not facilitate transfers on weekends or bank holidays.
Where can I see which payouts are pending?
Please refer to the "Estimated payout" table or "Available Balance / Pending Balance" in the "Payouts" section of your Merchant Account.
How can I reconcile the payouts I receive on my bank account?
You can reconcile settled payouts (the "Already paid" table) with pending payouts (the "Estimated payout" table) or check Available Balance / Pending Balance in the "Payouts" section of your Merchant Account.
I was paid out less funds than expected. What could be the reason?
Paymentwall uses net settlement. This means we calculate the collective total of all settled funds minus refunds and chargebacks (if applicable). Any applicable fees and commissions are deducted as well. Therefore, the funds you receive on your bank account will be less than the gross amount that was processed.
Additionally, Paymentwall may withhold a pre-arranged temporary deposit on your account, depending on your exposure to risk, to settle potential chargebacks and refunds. In order to ensure the correct deposit is held, funds may be debited from your settlement and will be paid in your next payouts.
One more reason is the uncollected funds from our payment partner. The delay depends on the payment method, risk level, country, and various other factors. Paymentwall will settle funds to your account as soon as they are collected.
Why am I not receiving my payout?
If we see that you have stopped processing payments, the payout might be put on hold, on average, for 3 to 6 months, depending on the payment methods you are using. It is done to cover any possible refunds or chargebacks the users may request during this period. Once the refund or chargeback period is over, we will pay you your remaining balance minus any incurred refunds or chargebacks.
Paymentwall might temporarily put payouts on hold if you updated your payout details in your Business Profile, you did not provide related KYC documents, or chargebacks exceeded your current balance.
